Alison Rew

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I am a qualified counsellor with a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.

I work as part of the counselling team at the Pilgrims Hospice in Canterbury and value my work there supporting patients and their families with loss and bereavement.

I also work at the University of Kent supporting students with their mental health. As a mentor I help young people to improve their lives; empowering them to address challenges such as anxiety, depression or managing neurodiversity.

I aim to create a safe, warm and open environment where my clients have space to truly be.

I believe in the importance of the client-counsellor relationship and feel that in this honest and collaborative environment meaningful change can gently occur.

I hold a Diploma in Counselling Children and Young People.
