I believe everyone deserves a place where they can feel heard, understood, and accepted. My counselling style is grounded in the person-centred approach, with my focus on empathy, authenticity, and respect.
I also integrate other approaches when they could offer something helpful, but above all I aim to create a supportive relationship that allows clients to explore at their own pace.
Before training as a counsellor, I spent 28 years working within the prison service, supporting people in some of the most vulnerable and complex situations. This experience has given me a deep understanding of resilience, struggle, and the importance of being heard and understood.
All of our counsellors have professional indemnity insurance
